It is our general experience that we often find
offensive feces in bowels during abdominal operations. The offensive odor originates
from putrefied metabolites such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, histamine, indole,
phenol as well as nitrosamine which are known to be pathogens or carcinogens.
In short, prolonged existences of those putrefied metabolites should have brought
about not only various diseases but also malignant tumors. When it is postulated
that digestive canal from mouth, esophagus, stomach, small or large intestine
along with portal vein is defined to be 'pre-hepatic organ', then its peripheral
organs such as liver, hepatic vein, IVC as well as vessels of large circulation
systems including peripheral organs can be defined as 'post-hepatic organ'. It
is out of question that the existence of putrefied metabolites in the prehepatic
organ should give serious influences to posthepatic organs. In other words, the
purification of the prehepatic organ or purification of offensive putrefied metabolites
in gastrointestinal tract should be the top priority to be taken not only in the
prevention of diseases but also in the treatment of them.
And we are confident that intake of hydrogen-rich water presented by us since
2001 can bring marked decrease of offensive odor of stools quite easily.
